The shift went pretty well. I worked from 2 PM to 10 PM. I had to be on my feet for most of the shift, but it wasn’t too bad. I was able to take breaks and had a lunch break as well. The aides were very helpful, although the other nurse wasn’t as supportive. She didn’t have a super bad attitude, but it didn’t help me much. Management didn’t speak to me or greet me, even after I tried to engage with them, which felt a bit disrespectful. I had about 30 patients on Cart 1, and there were no wounds in the building except for a post-surgical incision. I really like this facility; it’s very clean and organized. While I don't know everyone’s name, most of the staff are nice. The parking was a hassle until about 8 PM, so I had to park on the street and move my car later.

The building is immaculate! The meds are organized in pill packets, the residents are amazing! The only thing I suggest is bringing in new nurses atleast 10-15 mins to orient them to this EMAR SYSTEM IDK WHAT ITS CALLED, it’s not PCC! It’s easy to catch on to it if you can learn quick but it took me all of 3+ hrs to pass I’d say maybe 15-20 ppls meds, BUT THE STAFF WERE SO AMAZING HELPING ME ESPECIALLY SHANNON!! I couldn’t make it without her! I made it through 6p-6a and I’d definitely go back!! Mostly agency in the building, which I’m confused on bcuz compared to some of the other places I’ve been in this is top knotch!!

I was DNR’d because I asked for help with showering a resident who couldn’t stand. None of the other staff were willing to help me. When I asked the nurse Dionasya for help she said she just get someone else to do the shower.

I worked memory care. The workers was so sooooooo helpful. The residents are super sweet as well. I love picking up at this place.
