I don’t like that you suspend people for canceling their shift. But nothing happens when they cancel us. Sometimes people are sick and don’t notice until they wake up that they have a fever or something.

I had to perform my med pass without a computer. Also, this place seems to serve as a homeless shelter for drug addicts and an insane asylum. It doesn’t feel safe. Residents smoke cigarettes in their rooms. A nurse had an asthma attack due to the smoke permeating the halls. I don’t know why they’re listed on here as being well supplied. That’s a flat out lie.

That place is okay to work, but the supervisor is very petty and unhelpful. He doesn’t assist staff or respond to questions. Initially, I was told there weren’t enough computers and that I would have to share one with someone else, which made it difficult to complete my meds pass for nearly 20 patients.

One of the units is not a nursing home. It is not a long-term care. It is drug alcohol, rehab rehabilitation with lots of narcotic dependency and the potential for a lot of physical violence. In addition you work k beyond the nursing we use on the one unit there is 33 residence for one nurse there is only a tablet to work from and not a real computer.. It was a demonic and terrible experience and not to mention the owner came around and when I shared these concerns with him, he asked me if this was my first day here as if to say this is how we do things over here..
