Most medications are available. Night nurse works two carts. You process new admissions. Documentation is needed on every patient. Vital signs are needed for every patient.

It was no supervisor at all. There was no regular staff in the building. Everybody was from Clipboard and nobody knew what to do the DON never answer the phone. The staff is late in the morning and we have to clock out at seven. There’s no way because the staff is never on time and there’s hardly any linen.

This place leaves you out to the wolves. No supervisor on weekends. Plenty of missing meds to run around and look for, the majority of the shift. A multitude of unstable critical patients who should not have been admitted to the facility. A scheduler who picks and chooses her favorites and makes dummy schedules with a bunch of names that never show up. Then they want you to have patients on two different units. And expected to give the best care possible with pretty much no resources or supplies. However the plethora of agency workers in the building are very nice and supportive. If you are not and experienced nurse used to working in the trenches I would not even enter the bldg.
