I was on sub-acute for AM shift LVN, had about 22 patients, which is like almost 3 times what I usually have in sub-acute. I was really considering cancelling and going home but I decided to stay. Morning med pass is not too heavy, but it’s 22 sub-acute patients (16 g-tubes or so) So it’s bound to be a bit heavy. I finished morning rounds at 10:30 and the rest of the day was not too bad. RN Edna was the sweetest and so helpful. I might come back if the pay is good, but otherwise I would not.

Staffed only 2 CNAs to whole sub Acute which was 38pts tonight and mostly all were two people assist. The nurse said thanks for coming or we wouldve been short, i said you mean SHORTER he said no its usually 2 CNAs only to this side -_-. .... Staff was wonderful tho. Just heavy workload for only $23, wasn't worth it. First round took us 3hrs to complete. Many complete bed changes, which indicated the shift prior was most likely short. Again wonderful staff but I'd never come back unless they're offering $27+. Has to make sense

The great thing about registry is if you don’t like it, you don’t have to come back. This place is lacking professionalism. My first and last time here. This is a subacute unit. Almost all of the patients are teach and Gtube. And depending on where they put you, you can have as many as 23 pts. The units are not split fairly. Don’t say you weren’t warned

As long as you’re able to stand up for yourself respectfully in the beginning, the rest will flow easily. Really nice and helpful people here. I worked subacute unit as an LVN had 10 patients and there were RTs.

What shift did you work?
@Jefaunya yes. It was a 12 hour, but it went by pretty quick.
I worked the 7p-7a shift.
