Very HEAVY shift on vent unit. That should NOT be an assignment for an agency nurse. Regular staff were placed on less heavier units.

Staff not friendly

As soon as I came into the building, the first thing the supervisor told me was that “she was going to cancel my shift,” because there was too many nurses. This place is not organized at all. Very unfriendly way to welcome someone for the first time working with them.

Nice facility, helpful staff. However, the resident to nurse ratio is heavy. 33 residents and all the beds weren’t filled so could be higher. High number of blood sugars, Alot of missing supplies which made it difficult to complete care. No gloves in the rooms had to literally search. Rates definitely need to be higher for the workload.

Work here at you own discretion, this place is the worst, No supplies, No linens, no HOT WATER to get the residents cleaned up…..kept on sending messages to get the login for charting because there was no one at the office to attend to me……..this place is not it at all!!!!!!!!!!!
