21 residents by myself. if you’re not used to that amount & not willing to accept the challenge. .do not work it. . .please get charting finished at 7am. everyone was cool. usual medical setting. glad they use wipes and be ready to be on your feet almost the whole time.

21 patients, 14 check & changes, empty caths & by myself. as long as you have caffeine and good rest.. you should be good to go. if you’re not used to the workload, ask chat gbt how to conquer the shift. that’s what i did.

You are the only staff RT in the building besides the RT director, Bill, who is more than willing to help you get your bearings. Offered help several times throughout the shift although it was not needed, workload is very light after 1st rounds. Facility is very well supplied, had everything I needed and more. All staff members are very welcoming to agency and collaborative care skills from all departments are very good. More than happy to return!
