The place is nice. Not too many patients and youre not running around too much.

CNA here AM shift I had about 10 patients. Staff was very helpful specifically Irene and Darwin. Darwin is a good nurse and very funny, made the shift go by faster. They give you a schedule that includes showers and feeders list and short run down of pts. Overall a good experience here which is rare. I am assuming their staffing issues have mostly to do with pay and not with workload, environment or pts treatment. It’s a very small family about two short halls. They do not even have an activities director. So most of the patients sit there watching movies in the dining room all day.

I won’t say it’s difficulty, for the most part it’s light duty, but they give registry the most demanding run with residents in isolation while their CNA’s lay up under each other in the activities room sleep all night, yet the LVN Angela comes to ask you if you’re on a break, when you go to the break room for 5 minutes. Try & see for yourself. Not trying to sway anyone from coming here. Just sharing a small piece of my experience. New to registry & I see why people feel like sometimes we’re invisible to some and taken advantage of at times.
