Not sure how I feel about it here but here’s my experience: the facility doesn’t use PCC & it doesn’t state that on clipboard. It is fairly easy to learn but would have been nice to know. To clock in, you have to walk all through the building and down a couple units to enter the supervisors office.

The supervisor on my shift was lovely. The DON was welcoming but very involved to the point it felt like micromanaging. The other nurse on my unit said the state was coming so that could be the reason. Another odd thing, we are not allowed to start our meds until after 5:30. Even on each med order it says AC.

Do not give care until after dinner because they will change your assignment. Everyone is a hoyer and a feeder. Employed staff will disappear leaving you to answer all lights. Management gets angry at agency staff but not the hired employees who are nowhere to be found. Beautiful facility but poorly staffed and poorly managed.

Day shift 7-3. I had 14 patients. Med pass was decent. Wound care treatments were not bad but adequate supplies ordered for treatment was missing which caused delays. Lots of documentation. Aides are really great! Residents are nice but some or reluctant of agency nurses.

One thing I must say the nurses at this facility is on their game. Not once did I need to search for missing medication. Everything I needed was available. If they only paid well I, would consider applying. Very clean facility. I had a great shift today.
