*Job Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including private homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while developing valuable skills in patient care and support. *Duties* * Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support * Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure health stability * Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality * Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking * Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement * Operate specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids safely and effectively * Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment in accordance with health standards * Observe and report any changes in health status or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members promptly *Requirements* * Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home environments preferred * Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism * Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA training, and knowledge of medication administration are highly desirable * Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> (personal assistance) tools * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams * Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism * Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed * Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care Join us in delivering compassionate caregiving that transforms lives!
