This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while making a lasting impact in a supportive community setting. *Responsibilities* * Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, to promote independence and comfort * Monitor residents’ vital signs and health status regularly, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals * Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols, ensuring safety at all times * Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or assistive devices, ensuring safe transfers and positioning *Requirements* * Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly preferred * Background check and fingerprint clearance required * TB-test required * Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred; additional certifications such as Hoyer lift training or behavior management are a plus * Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is advantageous * Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed * Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families * Valid driver’s license preferred for driving residents or running community errands Join us in creating a caring environment where every resident feels valued and supported.
