Mt. San Antonio Gardens is currently seeking a full-time Restorative Nursing Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (RNA/CNA) to join our team. The role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing compassionate, hands-on care while supporting restorative nursing programs in a collaborative, resident-centered environment. As part of our team, you will play an important role in supporting residents' daily needs, promoting mobility and independence, and contributing to a safe and respectful environment. This full-time position requires availability to work weekends as part of the regular schedule. Responsibilities Assists the resident with feeding, ROM and ambulation and direct resident care as needed. Carry out restorative programs as planned and directed by Director of Nursing Services/ Patient Care Coordinator Accepts responsibilities for resident’s dignity, personal care and environment throughout treatment Carry out proper positioning and therapeutic exercise as per protocol Train residents in exercises, ambulation and activities of daily living as outlined on treatment plan Care for braces, prostheses, walkers, canes and other active assistive devices of assigned patients Transport and transfer residents using established techniques of proper body mechanics Observe and report the resident’s response to treatment to the Director of Nursing Services/Patient Care Coordinator, in a timely manner Carry out wheelchair and commode chair assignment policy and procedure Provide the restorative feeding program to patients as assigned Assist in responding to call lights as needed regardless of assigned residents Attends in-service and CNA meetings as scheduled Maintain a safe environment for all Residents. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing Services Practices good safety habits Checks function of Secure Care Alarm at each entrance and documents results Possession of a current California CNA certificate Experience in geriatric nursing Ability to work harmoniously with patients and staff Demonstrated ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Mt.
