SAJE Strategic Solutions is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention Nurse (LVN) to join a well-run skilled nursing facility in East Los Angeles. This onsite, full-time position involves overseeing a facility with under 100 beds. You will be responsible for managing infection control practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing staff education to maintain a safe care environment. Compensation and Schedule: The pay rate for this role is $40 to $42 per hour, depending on your level of experience. This is a full-time position within a stable leadership environment that offers competitive compensation. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will implement the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program while staying current on all relevant regulations. You will monitor and report infections following CDC, CMS, and state guidelines. Your duties include conducting surveillance, audits, and corrective action plans. You will also educate staff on protocols, collaborate with nursing leadership, and prepare the facility for regulatory surveys. Maintaining accurate documentation and logs is a critical part of these daily operations. Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must have an active LVN license in good standing. A minimum of 2 years of Infection Prevention experience specifically within a skilled nursing facility is required. You should possess strong knowledge of CMS, CDC, and state infection control requirements. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and confident working independently.
