*Job Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in various care settings. Your energy and commitment will help create a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for all residents and clients. *Duties* * Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support * Monitor patient health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration regularly * Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality * Support patients with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition to promote overall well-being * Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or anxiety * Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs; perform heavy lifting when necessary to ensure safety * Maintain detailed documentation of patient observations, care provided, and any changes in condition for compliance and continuity of care * Follow infection control protocols including cleaning patient areas and maintaining a hygienic environment * Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs * Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities through dedicated memory or behavioral care strategies *Qualifications* * Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, home health, or group home environments preferred * Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring required * Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable; ongoing training encouraged * Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy at all times * Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs such as autism or developmental disabilities preferred * Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts safely * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams * Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others through direct support and caregiving Join us in making a positive impact every day!
