Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor

Job Description

Part-time nursing position at a healthcare facility in Downey, CA providing skilled nursing services for residents, with responsibilities including medication administration, patient care, and medical documentation Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician. Receive and record telephone orders, and document the prescribed treatments as appropriate. Chart all reports/changes in resident conditions. Verify that nurses' notes reflect that the care plan is being followed when administering nursing care or treatment. Oversee LVN's and CNA's on the floor. Administer services within the applicable scope of nursing practice, which may include: catheterization, tube feedings, suction, taking blood etc. as appropriate and in accordance with applicable standards.
