Job Description
A nursing facility seeking a Director of Staff Development (DSD) Assistant to help manage and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), with responsibilities including training, scheduling, certification tracking, and maintaining personnel records. Assists Director of Staff Development in providing a clean, safe, dignified, happy and healthy environment for residents by performing orientation, in-service education, certification training program management, and administrative tasks related to CNA staff requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring CNA certifications, creating staff schedules, maintaining personnel records, processing documentation, assisting new employees with paperwork, and conducting skill competency checks.
