Empathy Hands Home Care is looking for reliable, compassionate, and qualified caregivers to serve our clients in the Los Angeles, Baldwin Hills, and Westwood areas. Must be fluent in English. We are looking for experienced Caregivers, CNAs, or Senior Companionship. This is our agency's goal. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in their home. This position requires a commitment to delivering personalized care while respecting the dignity and privacy of the clients you serve. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Support clients with mobility assistance, including lifting when necessary. Medication reminder and monitor health conditions. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Skills Experience in patient care or senior care is highly desirable. Knowledge of home community care practices and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Ability to perform light cleaning duties as part of maintaining a safe environment. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and this family Compassionate nature combined with patience and understanding. Ability to transfer the client safely when needed, adhering to proper lifting or transfer techniques. Familiarity with meal preparation that meets nutritional needs. Are you registered with the CA Home Care Registry? How soon can you start? Do you have experience caring for someone with Alzheimer's? Do you have experience with the gait belt? Qualifications: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, especially in outpatient, geriatrics, or in-home care settings. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to teach clients about their care plans effectively. Must be patient, empathetic, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
