Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Jul 20, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 3 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level-facility in Santa Monica, CA, requiring a minimum of 3 years of trauma and adult ED experience and a CA RN license. Details Work in a 21-bed Emergency Department with an average daily census of 140 patients Adult and trauma emergency patient population Patient ratio of 1:4 Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30), with potential for some mid/day shifts based on staffing needs Shifts span various days of the week, including every other weekend Charting performed in Epic No floating outside of scope required No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active CA RN license required (EMSA licensure not accepted) BSN required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI Minimum 3 years of experience in a trauma and adult Emergency Department At least one prior travel assignment required Additional Information Navy blue scrubs required First-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on ER nursing experience
