*The Lakes home Health Services, Inc* is looking for compassionate and dedicated *Home Health Aide (CHHA) *to join our team*. *Our Agency services *adult and geriatric clients* *per-visit basis* in territories throughout *Los Angeles County, Orange County* and *Kern County.* The home health aide provides personal care and related services in the home that are allowed to be performed under state law. She/he functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the staff nurse and the Director of Patient Care Services and/or appropriate supervisor. Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. \* Duties: - Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary restrictions - Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up the patient's living space - Provide companionship and emotional support to patients - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective care coordination - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Requirements: \_ Valid CA CHHA License/Certificate. \_ Valid CA Drivers License \_ BLS/CPR - Previous experience in home health preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Job Type: Contract Pay: $40.00 per hour Medical Specialty: * Geriatrics * Home Health Work Location: On the road
