Job Title: LVN/LPN – Outpatient Clinic Location: Beverly Hills, CA Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift (5x8 Hours) Hours: 40 Hours/Week Schedule: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (scheduled 8-hour shifts within operational hours) Weekend Requirement: 1 Weekend per Month Floating: Yes, as needed Compensation Local Pay: $30 to $37/hour (based on experience) Travel Pay: $39 to $41/hour (including stipend), based on experience and eligibility Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join a busy outpatient clinic in Beverly Hills, California. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, outpatient experience, and proficiency in phlebotomy and IV procedures. This role involves providing direct patient care, supporting providers during procedures, and delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in an outpatient clinic environment. Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and assessments. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers. Perform phlebotomy, blood draws, and specimen collection. Initiate and maintain peripheral IV access. Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures. Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care. Float to other clinic areas as needed to support operational needs. Qualifications Required Active California LVN License (must be active at the time of submission; pending licenses will not be accepted). Minimum 2 years of outpatient nursing experience. Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC. IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal certification/training. Strong skills in: Phlebotomy Venipuncture IV starts Patient assessment and documentation Excellent communication and patient care skills.
