Job description: Access TLC Hospice is currently seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) for hospice visits. If you are friendly, have a positive attitude, and are genuinely compassionate about helping others, then this is your opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and families. We have 22 years of experience and run a well established organization! In this role, you will visit patients in their homes or nursing facilities and visit multiple patients per day. Position is per diem; $30 per visit made. Mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS rate. For orientation and case conference the pay rate will be $20 per hour. Position Responsibilities: Assist patients with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), including eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, brief changes, repositioning, activities, and all personal care and grooming; Make beds, change linens and keep patient rooms/areas organized and tidy; Ability to show genuine kindness and respect to our patients and always ensure their dignity and privacy; Demonstrate proper patient lifting and transferring skills; Maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate ability to work well within a team and independently; Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to demonstrate strong time management skills; Ability to take direction from RN Case Managers and Supervisors Benefits Include: A positive work environment with friendly staff and a true team approach to care Flexible schedules Competitive hourly wages Mileage reimbursement Cell phone reimbursement Requirements: Current and valid California Certified Home Health Aide Certificate (CHHA) Current CPR certification Must have a California Driver’s License, satisfactory driving record and a vehicle that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements.
