Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) SNF Unit Golden Rose Care Center - Pasadena Golden Rose Care Center is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated and compassionate team in the SNF Unit. We offer competitive pay, shift differentials, training support, and a $600 sign-on bonus after 90 days (Full Time Employees Only, must be in good standing - Attendance and Performance). Pay and Bonuses • $21–$25 per hour, based on CNA experience • $600 sign-on bonus (Full Time Employees Only, must be in good standing - Attendance and Performance) Shift Differentials • +$1 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts Available Shifts Full Time Skilled Nursing Facility Unit: AM: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM PM: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM NOC: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM *4 on 2 off rotating schedule Part Time: Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday AM: (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) PM: (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) NOC: (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) CNA Responsibilities • Work under the supervision of the Charge Nurse • Assist residents with activities of daily living • Provide physical comfort, emotional support, and social interaction • Maintain a safe and respectful environment • Protect resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality • Observe and report changes in residents’ condition • Follow infection control and safety protocols • Perform rounds per protocol and as needed • Complete required documentation and in-service training • Perform other duties as assigned Essential Job Functions • Respond to call lights promptly • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, and hygiene • Make beds and change linens • Assist with toileting and incontinent care • Serve and assist with meals; record intake and output • Weigh residents as requested • Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and range of motion • Use proper body mechanics and assistive devices • Follow universal precautions and safety rules Requirements • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license • BLS certification (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross) • Ability to read, write, and speak English • Honest, dependable, and compassionate • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation • U.S. work authorization Experience • New graduates welcomed! • All experience levels Please Bring • Proof of passing the state CNA exam or current CNA License Number • BLS (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross) • Valid ID (Driver’s License, Social Security card, or Passport) Benefits • Paid Time Off (vacation and sick pay) • Holiday pay • Supplemental medical, dental, vision, accidental, and hospitalization plans • In-house skills training • Competitive pay Job Details • Job Type: Full-time • Specialty: Geriatric care • Facility Type: Nursing home • Work Location: On-site Ideal Candidate Traits • Dependable and reliable • People-oriented • Flexible and adaptable • Able to work independently • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
