We are currently looking for a dependable and compassionate caregiver in the Los Angeles/Hollywood Hills area. The current schedule is daytime shifts but he is looking for a caregiver that can cover the evening shifts. This is one of our easier and more enjoyable clients to work with, but he does appreciate caregivers who are professional, attentive, and a great personality match. We are looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and confident in providing high-quality care and companionship. The client is a 72-year-old man who uses a wheelchair for mobility and requires assistance with transfers, personal care, and daily living activities. He lives in a two-story home and uses a chair lift for access to the second floor. The caregiver must be experienced with safe transfers, as the client is at fall risk and requires mobility support throughout the day. He is very social, conversational, and enjoys engaging with his caregivers. *Responsibilities Include:* * Assist with wheelchair transfers and mobility support * Assist client with chair lift when accessing the second floor * Provide assistance with showering, dressing, and restroom care * Prepare meals and provide medication reminders * Provide companionship and engaging conversation * Assist with errands and transportation to doctor’s appointments * Complete light housekeeping and laundry * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment * Monitor client safety and provide standby assistance as needed *Requirements:* * Active HCA number * Valid state ID or driver’s license * Social Security card * Current TB test * CNA license (if applicable) * Experience with transfers and fall-risk clients preferred *What We Offer:* * Flexible scheduling * 401(k) * Mileage reimbursement * Paid sick time * Referral program We also have additional cases available.
