*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and obtain prior authorization. *Duties* * Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures on patients of all ages. * Ensure proper identification of patients and labeling of specimens. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. * Prepare blood samples for laboratory analysis and transport. * Communicate effectively with patients, providing information about the procedure and addressing any concerns. * Document all procedures accurately in patient records. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. * Participate in training programs to enhance phlebotomy skills and knowledge. * Obtain prior authorization from insurance for patient. *Experience* * Minimum 2 years work experience * Certification in phlebotomy or Medical Assistant. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure. * Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
