The Aptus Group is urgently hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide one-on-one care in a school setting. In this role, you will deliver individualized care and health support to ensure the student’s safety, well-being, and ability to fully participate in the school day. Pay Rate: $32 - $37 per hour Location: Paramount, CA 90723 Schedule: Full / Part Time (School Operating Hours) Why Work With Us: * Weekly Pay * Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance * Referral Program & Employee Discounts * Professional Development and Ongoing Training * Sick Time Off * Retirement Plan * Collaborative, mission-driven environment Requirements * Required: Valid LVN license granted by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technician * Minimum 1 year of experience as an LVN. * Strong oral and written communication, problem-solving, and communication skills. * First Aid and CPR Certificate is Preferred * Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred * Reliable Transportation Responsibilities: * Maintain effective and timely communication with parents, school personnel, and the agency * Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA/HITECH and FERPA regulations * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician * Provide skilled nursing care, including catheter care and changes as required. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and related records * Communicate with parents regarding student health concerns and provide guidance for appropriate follow-up * Perform additional duties as assigned *The Aptus Group participates in E verify.
