*Job Overview* ameriCARE Central Orange County is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to join our team. Based out of our Fullerton, CA corporate office, you’ll serve clients throughout Anaheim, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Fountain Valley, Orange and other surrounding cities — In this role, you will provide essential, non-medical support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and a high quality of life. You will work closely with clients, families, and our care team to ensure a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment tailored to each individual’s needs. *Responsibilities* * Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation * Provide medication reminders and observe clients for changes in health or behavior * Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment * Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed * Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance overall well-being * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care * Follow individualized care plans while maintaining client dignity and confidentiality *Skills* * Previous caregiving experience or background in a related healthcare role (such as CNA) preferred * Current California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registry status highly recommended * Compassionate, patient, and dependable with good interpersonal skills * Ability to follow care plans and maintain strict client confidentiality * Strong communication and organizational skills * Reliable transportation to travel to client locations within the central Orange County, Ca area. * Ability to pass required background checks and drug screenings Join us as a Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults by providing compassionate, dependable support that promotes independence and dignity.
