*Job Overview* The Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care to surgical patients from admission through discharge in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. This is a per diem (as-needed) night-shift role (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM), suited for nurses who prefer overnight coverage while maintaining strong clinical skills in a surgical setting. Marina Orthopedic & Spine Institute (MOSI) is a physician-led, outpatient surgery center specializing in orthopedic and spine procedures. MOSI is known for high clinical standards, efficient operations, and a collaborative, team-based culture focused on delivering an exceptional patient experience. *Responsibilities* * Perform pre-operative and post-anesthesia patient assessments * Monitor vital signs and patient recovery following anesthesia * Administer medications and treatments as ordered * Maintain patient safety, comfort, and emotional support * Communicate effectively with physicians, anesthesia, and care teams * Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with policies * Prepare, clean, and restock patient care areas and equipment * Assist with patient discharge education and follow-up calls * Respond to emergencies per clinical protocols *Experience* * Minimum 1 year of RN experience in PACU, Pre-Op, perioperative, Med/Surg, ICU, or acute care preferred * Experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) or outpatient surgical setting strongly preferred * Familiarity with post-anesthesia recovery, patient monitoring, and discharge criteria * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment with variable patient volumes * Experience collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical teams *Qualifications* * Graduate of an accredited nursing program * Active RN license in the state * BLS required; ACLS required or obtained within 90 days * Minimum 1 year of acute care, Med/Surg, PACU, or perioperative experience preferred * Strong assessment, communication, and prioritization skills Pay: $60.00 - $67.00 per hour Application Question(s): * What are your salary expectations? * Do you have experience in a Ambulatory Surgery Center? * How many years of Preop/PACU experience do you have?
