Description Associate Patient Care Technician in our Emergency Department at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Part-Time and will work 12-hour Evening shifts. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, Clinical Coordinator, and Department Manager, provides care to the Emergency Department or Critical Care patient. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Completion of 1 clinical semester of nursing school, or 1 year as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Corpsman in the Armed Services, PCT, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in an acute hospital setting, sub-acute long term care setting or outpatient/home health setting. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 90 days of hire Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) - provided by St. Joseph Hospital Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience working in an emergency department as an EMT or CNA. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
