*Job Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Field Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a flexible, patient-centered environment. *Duties* * Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in accordance with hospice care protocols * Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote comfort and symptom management * Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and efficacy * Educate patients and families on disease processes, medication management, and end-of-life care options * Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, social workers, chaplains, and therapists to ensure holistic patient support * Monitor patient progress through regular vital signs checks and clinical observations, adjusting care plans as needed * Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations *Requirements* * Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice * Critical care experience or background in Level II trauma centers highly preferred * Experience in ICU, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine settings demonstrating strong acute care skills * Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques essential for effective patient assessment * Familiarity with discharge planning, case management, utilization management, and medical records documentation * Ability to manage complex cases involving infectious disease care, geriatrics, behavioral health or pediatrics is a plus * Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration * Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us to provide compassionate end-of-life care that truly makes a difference.
