Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU Location: West Hollywood, CA, United States Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks Position Type: Contract (Travel/Local) Schedule & Shift Details: Mid Shift 02:00 PM – 02:30 AM 3 × 12-hour shifts per week Block scheduling available Weekend requirement as needed No on-call required Floating required Orientation: 12 hours (Non-billable) Job Overview: "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing post-operative patients across multiple surgical specialties. Key Responsibilities: Provide immediate post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia Monitor vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness Manage pain, nausea, and post-surgical complications Administer medications and IV therapies, including conscious sedation Perform advanced patient monitoring (telemetry, ventilators, etc.) Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and care teams Assess readiness for discharge or transfer Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols Educate patients and families on post-operative care Required Qualifications: Active California RN license required Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required Experience in a Level I Trauma setting required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Strong experience with conscious sedation, IV starts, and monitoring equipment Ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environments Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills First-time travelers accepted For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
