Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: May 12, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma teaching hospital in Pomona, CA, requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active CA RN license. Details 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit with potential floating to other ICU, Tele, and MS/Tele units as needed Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) Weekend shifts required No on-call requirements Cerner EMR used for charting Free parking available on-site Requirements Active CA RN license required (no pending licenses accepted) Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Ability to float within scope to other ICU, Tele, and MS/Tele units 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Additional Information Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 412 staffed beds First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted Specific schedule requests cannot be accommodated Up to 5 days of RTO allowed, with 1 holiday approved off; all RTO requests must be submitted prior to offer Three missed shifts may result in assignment cancellation Scrubs may be any color, but camouflage and character patterns are not permitted
