Licensed Vocational Nurse - Licensed Psych Tech LVN/LPT (Per-Diem, All shifts)

We are seeking skilled and compassionate LVN/LPT to join our healthcare team. 8-hr shifts | PER-DIEM AM, PM, and NOC shifts WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED at 2 weekend days per pay period, such as every other weekend, or 1 weekend day per week. As a LVN/LPT, you will assist Physician, RN and treatment team in delivering comprehensive patient care to all patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders, including administering medication prescribed by physician. Requirements Education & Experience: · Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Psych Tech (LPT) license · Current BLS for healthcare provider card required upon hire · High School graduation or equivalent in education or experience · Basic knowledge of detoxification assessment and treatment procedures · Familiarity with the disease concept of addiction treatment · Knowledge of 12-step treatment and of cognitive aspects of addictive disease treatment · Ability to identify signs of withdrawal from major classes of abused substances and ability to apply this knowledge to the treatment of chemically dependent patients · Therapeutic Options Training (TOT) to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care without a preceptor Benefits Benefits: 401(k) Employee assistance program Employee discount Paid Sick time Shift differential
