PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL AN EVENING SHIFT FROM 4PM UNTIL 11PM ON FRIDAYS. If you cannot work this specific shift, please don't apply. Other shifts may become available if back-up coverage is needed. This is a great part-time, side income opportunity. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be 21 years of age * Must have a valid Driver's License & Insurance * Must have or must be willing to obtain upon hire (we will provide) First Aid/CPR Certification * Must have or must be willing to obtain (we will provide) Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification * Must successfully pass Live Scan Clearance * Must be able to lift up to 20lbs * 1 year experience (preferred) working with adults affected by developmental disabilities * Ability to work well with others, creative problem-solving skills, strong advocacy and communication skills, enthusiastic, multitask, practices good judgement, non-prejudice, practices equality, willing to learn, shows patience and flexibility * Must be available to work an every other weekend double shift Saturdays at 4pm until Sundays at 8am. POSTION OVERVIEW: Everyday within the AW Self Determination Program can look very different, including the duties required for our staff to perform.
