Our mission is to provide a tranquil, home-like environment that fosters dignity, respect, and compassion for our residents across our assisted living and long-term care campuses. *Job Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Resident Assistant Caregiver to join our team at our assisted living facility. In this vital role, you will support residents with daily activities, ensure their safety and well-being, and foster a warm, engaging environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities while working in a supportive community dedicated to excellence in care. *Responsibilities* * Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support * Monitor residents’ vital signs and observe for any health changes or concerns * Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities accurately * Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or memory impairments, including Alzheimer’s care and behavior management strategies * Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and social activities to promote engagement and independence * Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning duties and proper infection control practices * Document resident interactions, health status updates, and care activities using electronic medical record (EMR) systems *Skills* * Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings * Knowledge of assisted living standards, Alzheimer’s/dementia care, and memory care techniques * Ability to assist with ADLs and perform personal care tasks with compassion and professionalism * Familiarity with vital signs measurement, medication administration, and emergency response procedures such as first aid * Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members * Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently and maintain accurate documentation * Valid driver’s license for driving residents or running errands as needed (preferred) Join us in creating a nurturing environment where seniors feel valued and cared for every day.
