*Home Care Aide (HCA) – Private Pay In-Home Care (Harbor Area)* Taylored Care is a licensed Home Care Organization providing high-quality, non-medical in-home care services throughout the Los Angeles Harbor area. We are currently expanding our private pay services and are seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Home Care Aides to join our team. *Now Hiring: Build Your Schedule With Us* *This position is part of our HCO expansion and is intended to build a strong, reliable caregiver pool.* * Caregivers are onboarded and *matched with clients as cases are assigned* * *Hours* vary based on client needs and availability * Priority is given to caregivers with *flexible availability and willingness to accept new assignments* *Position Overview* As a Home Care Aide, you will provide non-medical support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain safety, independence, and quality of life. *What to Expect* * *Flexible scheduling with opportunities to build hours* based on availability and client assignments * Caregivers are matched with clients based on *availability, scheduling needs, and proximity* * Hours will vary based on client needs and assigned cases * Assignments are offered as cases become available, and flexibility is highly valued *Your Role* * Follow all individualized care plans, training, and company policies while providing services * Maintain a high standard of *professionalism, reliability, and communication* at all times *Responsibilities* * Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting * Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining professional boundaries * Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping in accordance with care plans * Support mobility, transfers, and help maintain a safe environment * *Complete accurate and timely DAILY documentation of all services provided, including tasks performed and observations, in accordance with company policies and state requirements* * Follow all care plans and company policies, and communicate with the office regarding any questions or concerns * *Immediately report any incidents, injuries, safety concerns, or changes in client condition in accordance with company policy* * Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliable attendance * Arrive on time and remain for the full scheduled shift unless otherwise directed * Use company systems (including EVV and documentation tools) as required *Requirements* * *Active HCA Registration (California)* or willingness to obtain prior to start date (must be eligible for the California Home Care Aide Registry) * *Background Clearance Required:* Ability to pass Live Scan fingerprinting in accordance with California Home Care Organization (HCO) requirements * *Health & Safety Requirements:* Current negative TB test and CPR certification required prior to client assignment * Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred, but not required * *Reliable Transportation:* Must be able to travel within the Harbor area * *Professional Skills:* Ability to communicate clearly, follow care plans, complete documentation accurately, and comply with company policies * *Reliability Matters:* Consistent attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic are essential * Must be authorized to work in the United States *Work Schedule & Availability* * Part-time and per diem opportunities * Flexible scheduling based on client needs * Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on case assignments * Caregivers are expected to maintain reliable availability and communication *Compensation* * $18.50 – $23.00 per hour * Rates based on experience, availability, and client needs * Opportunities for higher pay available for consistent and reliable caregivers *Why Join Taylored Care* * Flexible scheduling * Paid training and orientation * Supportive and professional team environment * Opportunities for growth as the agency expands *Training & Onboarding* * *Paid training and orientation provided* before any client assignment * Caregivers are expected to complete onboarding and *demonstrate competency before working independently with clients* * Training includes: * Company policies and expectations * Client care and safety procedures * *Daily documentation requirements* * Use of required systems (including EVV) * Caregivers are expected to *follow care plans, training, and company policies at all times while providing services* * *Ongoing training and support provided*, with additional training as needed based on client needs or company requirements * Failure to complete required training or meet company standards *may impact assignment opportunities* *Work Location* This position serves clients throughout the Harbor area, including Torrance, Carson, Long Beach, San Pedro, Wilmington, and surrounding cities.
