Caregiver Needed for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities in a Group Home

Job Description

*Job Summary* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support for adults with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting. Maximum 6 bed facility. Each staff will have no more than three residents to be responsible for direct care, but all staffs must still be alert and aware of all resident's safety and well-being. _*Availability:*_ *PM SHIFT: 3pm-11pm [Monday-Friday FULL-TIME or PART-TIME, Open Sunday through Saturday]* *Duties* * Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. * Administer medications and vital signs monitoring * Assist residents during meal preparation and feeding. * Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers to ensure safety during movement. * Implement behavior management strategies. * Document resident progress, health status, and incidents. * Maintain cleanliness of the living environment through routine cleaning tasks. *Qualifications* * Certification in First Aid and CPR is required (about $15-20, completed online) * Background check is required (Livescan fingerprinting is about $60-75) * Physical and TB test must be completed (Will send you the form to show your Dr. to fill out) * Fees are to be paid by the employee (Will be reimbursed after 1 year of employment).
