*Job Overview* Join our dedicated team as a Live-In Board & Care Caregiver, where your compassionate support and attentive care make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and specialized care. As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will foster independence while delivering essential health and safety support tailored to each individual’s needs. *Duties* * Provide comprehensive assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support * Monitor residents’ health by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition; promptly report any concerns to healthcare professionals * Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance * Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition for residents with specific dietary requirements * Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts and resident’s <PERSON> to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges * Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols * Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s by implementing memory care strategies and engaging them in meaningful activities * Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards and facility policies *Skills* * Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, or nursing home environments * Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring * Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders * Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance, and medication administration are highly desirable * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts effectively * Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with healthcare teams and family members * Compassionate attitude combined with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple residents’ needs efficiently This position is paid and offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact while developing your skills in senior care, long-term care, or home health environments.
