Job Description

As a Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and support system, helping ensure safety, comfort, and dignity for every resident you serve. At OC Villas, we are committed to creating a warm, home-like environment where both residents and staff feel valued and supported. *Responsibilities* * Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support * Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature * Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols * Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care * Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment * Document care and resident updates using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems * Safely assist with transfers, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts * Engage residents in daily activities that support mental stimulation and emotional well-being * Collaborate with team members, healthcare providers, and families to ensure quality care *Skills & Qualifications* * Experience in assisted living, residential care, or senior care settings preferred * Knowledge of dementia and memory care * Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations * Understanding of medication administration and vital sign monitoring * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Experience with EMR documentation preferred * Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented * Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment * Current TB test and health screening clearance required * Must be able to pass FBI and DOJ background clearance * Current First Aid and CPR certification required Join us in creating a warm, supportive home where every resident is treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care. *Your work here doesn’t go unnoticed, it makes a real difference every single day!* Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: * Paid orientation * Paid sick time * Paid training * Referral program Work Location: In person
