The LVN provides direct nursing care and supports the health and well-being of residents in an assisted living community. This role ensures compliance with physician orders, state regulations, and facility policies while promoting a safe, respectful, and home-like environment. Responsibilities: Resident Care & Clinical Duties: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians * Monitor residents’ vital signs and overall health status * Perform routine nursing assessments and document changes in condition * Assist with wound care, injections, and other skilled nursing tasks * Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid/CPR as needed Care Coordination: Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and families regarding resident care * Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately * Coordinate with caregivers and med techs to ensure proper care delivery * Participate in care planning and update service plans as needed Medication Management: Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with policies * Conduct medication audits and maintain accurate records * Monitor for side effects or adverse reactions Supervision & Training: Provide guidance and oversight to caregivers/med tech staff * Assist in training staff on proper care procedures and infection control * Ensure staff follow state and facility regulations Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely charting in resident records * Ensure compliance with and other applicable laws * Assist with licensing inspections and audits Pay: $26.33 - $31.00 per hour Work Location: In person
