*Overview* We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Aesthetic Nurse to join our innovative skincare and aesthetic medicine team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with specialized training in aesthetic procedures, including dermal fillers, Botox, and laser treatments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine clinical expertise with aesthetic artistry, providing clients with personalized care that enhances their confidence and well-being. The Aesthetic Nurse will work closely with physicians and skincare specialists to deliver safe, effective, and state-of-the-art aesthetic treatments in a professional environment committed to excellence. Candidates should have experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, or specialized medical offices, with a focus on patient assessment, medical documentation, and sterile techniques. *Responsibilities* * Perform aesthetic procedures including dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, laser therapy, and other non-invasive cosmetic interventions following established protocols. * Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine suitability for various aesthetic treatments while ensuring safety and compliance with medical standards. * Educate patients on treatment options, pre- and post-procedure care, and address any questions or concerns to ensure informed consent. * Maintain accurate medical documentation within EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner, including treatment records, patient histories, and follow-up notes. * Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures to prevent complications. * Monitor patient vital signs during treatments involving sedation or anesthesia; manage adverse reactions promptly and effectively. * Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing individualized treatment plans aligned with patients' aesthetic goals. * Stay current on advancements in aesthetic medicine by participating in ongoing education and training sessions. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality. *Skills* * Proven experience administering injections such as botulinum toxin (Botox) and dermal fillers; certification in aesthetic laser treatment preferred. * Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to facial aesthetics, including facial muscles, nerves, and skin layers. * Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation. * Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively across diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or special needs patients such as those with developmental disabilities or dementia. * Proficiency in medical terminology related to dermatology, ophthalmology (for periocular treatments), and general nursing practices including sterile processing and infection control. * Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team; strong communication skills are essential. * Knowledge of medical imaging or diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to aesthetic assessments is a plus. * Experience working within hospital settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or teaching hospitals is advantageous but not required.
