Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care, Vein Procedures & Patient Screening *Vein & Wound Center of LA (Koreatown, Los Angeles)* *Schedule:* Predictable weekday clinic hours (no nights, no call, no hospital shifts) About Our Clinic Vein & Wound Center of LA is a specialty outpatient clinic focused on minimally invasive vein treatment and chronic wound care. We emphasize thoughtful diagnostics, ultrasound-guided treatment planning, and compassionate patient-centered care. *This role is ideal for RNs interested in transitioning into procedural specialty care (vein and wound treatment training provided).* We offer a stable weekday clinic schedule with no overnight shifts or hospital call responsibilities. We are seeking a hands-on Registered Nurse interested in procedural support, wound care, structured patient screening visits, and clinic coordination responsibilities in a specialty outpatient environment. *Bilingual Korean or Spanish strongly preferred (not required).* *Trilingual English, Korean, and Spanish ideal.* Role Overview This position combines: * wound care nursing * procedural support * patient screening visits * compression therapy * IV access support * EMR documentation * prior authorization coordination * phone triage support * cosmetic vein treatment exposure (training available) The RN will work closely with the physician and clinical team to help guide patients through evaluation and treatment while supporting efficient clinic workflow. ResponsibilitiesPatient Screening & Triage (Unique Role Feature) The RN will perform structured screening visits for new patients to help determine the appropriate next step in care. Responsibilities include: * reviewing symptoms related to venous disease and wounds * identifying patients appropriate for physician consultation * helping route patients to ultrasound mapping visits when appropriate * identifying patients needing wound-care evaluation * recognizing urgent concerns requiring physician review * assisting with compression-readiness screening before evaluation visits This role supports improved access to specialty care and efficient clinic flow. Wound Care Support * perform wound dressing changes * apply multilayer compression wraps and Unna boots * assist with wound documentation in the EMR * assist with advanced wound treatment preparation (including biologic graft placement) * monitor wound progress between physician visits Procedure Support * assist physician with in-office vein procedures * prepare procedure rooms and sterile fields * monitor patients before and after procedures * assist with room turnover between cases IV & Clinical Skills * perform blood draws * start IV access * assist with IV sedation workflow when applicable (training provided) Cosmetic Vein Procedures (Optional Training Opportunity) * assist with cosmetic sclerotherapy * opportunity to perform cosmetic injections after training and competency development EMR Documentation & Care Coordination The RN will support clinical documentation and treatment workflow coordination including: * assisting with EMR documentation during patient visits * documenting wound measurements and treatment updates * coordinating follow-up care plans * supporting procedure scheduling readiness Insurance Coordination & Phone Triage Support The RN will assist with selected clinic coordination responsibilities including: * supporting prior authorization preparation for procedures when needed * communicating with patients regarding treatment planning steps * assisting with patient phone triage and follow-up questions * helping coordinate compression therapy readiness before visits General Clinical Duties RN will also support core clinic workflow including: * rooming patients * obtaining vitals * patient education * stocking supplies * assisting with documentation workflows * coordinating follow-up care Qualifications *Required* * Active California RN license * Comfortable working in an outpatient clinic environment * Comfortable performing venipuncture * Comfortable documenting in an EMR environment *Preferred (not required)* * wound care experience * compression therapy experience * procedural clinic experience * prior authorization experience * phone triage experience * bilingual Korean or Spanish New outpatient nurses with strong clinical interest are encouraged to apply.
