*Job Overview* We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This is a \*PER DIEM\* position in ENCINO, CA area. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve in the comfort of their own homes or assisted living facilities. *Responsibilities* * Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. * Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. * Help patients with mobility and transferring, including lifting when necessary. * Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living space for clients. * Monitor patients ’ health by observing changes in their condition and reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. * Administer basic first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations. * Support clients with memory care activities to promote cognitive engagement. * Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals and enhancing their independence. *Requirements* * Previous experience in home care, senior care, or assisted living environments is preferred but not mandatory. * Ability to lift and assist clients as required for their mobility needs. * Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others. * Knowledge of CPR and basic first aid practices is highly desirable. * Understanding of memory care techniques and strategies is a plus. * Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed. * A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times.
