ICU Nurse

Job Description

*Overview:* Join our critical care team providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit. We seek a skilled and compassionate RN with ICU experience to deliver advanced clinical care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support positive patient outcomes. *Responsibilities:* * Provide comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for critically ill adult patients. * Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, ventilator settings, and cardiac rhythms; respond to emergencies. * Administer medications, IV infusions, blood products, and titrate vasoactive drips per protocol. * Perform and document advanced nursing interventions (e.g., central line care, arterial line monitoring, wound care). * Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other team members on care plans and rounds. * Educate patients and families regarding condition, treatment, and discharge planning. * Maintain accurate, timely charting and adhere to unit policies and regulatory standards. * Participate in quality improvement, infection control, and performance improvement initiative *Qualifications:* * Current RN license in CA. * BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred or as required by unit. * Minimum 1–2 years recent ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred. * Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills. * Ability to work effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environments and as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Excellent communication and documentation skill Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour Work Location: In person Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
