This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while delivering exceptional patient service in a dynamic clinical environment. *Duties* * Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary. * Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, accurately documenting all findings in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. * Support patient care activities in diverse settings including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. * Help with medical procedures like catheter care, basic life support (BLS), and phlebotomy under supervision while maintaining strict aseptic techniques. * Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with dementia or behavioral health needs, including Alzheimer's and memory care patients. * Follow HIPAA guidelines diligently to ensure patient confidentiality and protect sensitive medical records. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute settings to deliver seamless patient service. *Requirements* * Valid CNA certification recognized by the state or licensing authority. * Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral health conditions is highly desirable. * Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices such as aseptic technique. * Experience using EMR/EHR systems * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting patients with Hoyer lifts and standing for extended periods. * Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate caregiving attitude. * Join us in providing exceptional patient-centered care that transforms lives!
