*Job Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse healthcare needs, from geriatrics and memory care to acute and emergency medicine. *Duties* * Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices * Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature to support ongoing patient assessment * Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems * Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, behavioral health needs, or developmental disabilities * Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care and infection control practices in infectious disease or ICU settings * Document patient information accurately in medical records while respecting HIPAA regulations for patient privacy * Assist with medical procedures such as phlebotomy or basic life support when required in acute or emergency situations * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in post-acute care, outpatient clinics, or inpatient units to deliver comprehensive patient service * Use physiology and anatomy knowledge to support patient positioning and comfort during treatments or therapies * Support patients' emotional well-being through compassionate caregiving in hospice, geriatrics, or behavioral health environments *Experience* Candidates should possess prior experience working as a CNA in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers and Level II Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care environments. Experience with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks is highly valued. Ideal applicants will have familiarity with medical terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and patient service protocols across inpatient and outpatient settings. Additional preferred qualifications include: * Critical care experience in ICU or emergency medicine environments * Long-term care experience focusing on geriatrics and memory care patients * Specialized skills in dementia or Alzheimer's care along with behavioral health support * Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in pediatric or developmental settings * Knowledge of aseptic techniques for infection control and DME (Durable Medical Equipment) management * Proficiency in medication administration and vital signs monitoring in acute or urgent care contexts * Experience using EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation Join us if you’re passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care!
