*Job Summary* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals of all ages and health conditions. *Duties* * Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and transfer devices * Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR systems) such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks * Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques * Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support * Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and wound care in compliance with infection control protocols * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in diverse settings like hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers and PICUs), outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, or home & community care environments * Maintain accurate medical documentation and records while respecting patient confidentiality and privacy standards *Qualifications* * Valid CNA certification from an accredited program with current licensure in the state of employment * Experience working in critical care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable * Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques required for quality patient care * Prior experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner is preferred; familiarity with medical-surgical units or post-acute care settings is a plus * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages—including pediatrics—and team members across disciplines * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting patients using Hoyer lifts or assisting with transfers safely * Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Join our team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care that transforms lives!
