*Job Summary* We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Care Giver to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in need of personal care and assistance. In this vital role, you will help enhance the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and fostering a warm, respectful environment. Your enthusiasm and commitment will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve, promoting independence and well-being every day. *Duties* * Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support * Monitor patient health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature regularly * Support patients with medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for privacy and confidentiality * Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary * Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of resident spaces * Observe and document changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition, promptly reporting concerns to healthcare professionals * Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance * Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or anxiety, especially for those with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease * Follow all safety protocols during patient care activities, including CPR and first aid procedures when needed * Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote residents’ health and happiness *Skills* * Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments with a focus on senior or hospice care * Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring * Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, autism support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices * Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information * Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals * Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while demonstrating patience, compassion, and professionalism Join us in making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
