*Job Summary* We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Care Giver to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in need of personal care and assistance. Your enthusiasm and commitment will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve, promoting independence and well-being every day. *Duties* * Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support * Monitor patient health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature regularly * Support patients with medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for privacy and confidentiality * Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary * Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of resident spaces * Observe and document changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition, promptly reporting concerns to healthcare professionals * Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance * Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or anxiety, especially for those with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease * Follow all safety protocols during patient care activities, including CPR and first aid procedures when needed * Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote residents’ health and happiness *Skills* * Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments with a focus on senior or hospice care * Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring * Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, autism support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices * Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information * Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals * Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while demonstrating patience, compassion, and professionalism Join us in making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
