*Job Overview* As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include providing compassionate care, assisting with daily living activities, and fostering independence through support and encouragement. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those you serve. *Responsibilities* * Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. * Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. * Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. * Assist clients in engaging with their community through social activities and outings. * Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. * Lift and transfer clients as necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort. * Document care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care. *Requirements* * Experience in care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. * Background in senior care or social work is a plus. * Ability to perform cleaning tasks and maintain a tidy environment for clients. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. * Physical capability to lift clients and assist them with mobility as needed. * Knowledge of home care practices, including home health and hospice care principles, is beneficial. * A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others achieve their highest level of independence.
