Caregiver Benefits * Paid orientation and training * Ongoing skills-based and diagnosis-specific training * Employee appreciation and recognition programs * Supportive and collaborative work environment * Flexible scheduling (4–12 hour shifts available) * Opportunity for growth within the organization *Responsibilities* As a Direct Support Professional / Personal Care Assistant, you will: * Provide *one-on-one non-medical support* to adults with developmental disabilities * Assist individuals with *Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)* including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility * Assist with *meal preparation and feeding support* when needed * Provide *medication reminders and assistance* according to care plans * Perform *light housekeeping tasks* related to the individual’s care and living space * Provide *companionship, emotional support, and positive engagement* * Encourage participation in *daily routines, community activities, and life-skills development* * Follow each individual’s *person-centered care plan* and accurately document services provided * Communicate effectively with supervisors and care teams and report concerns promptly * Ensure the *health, safety, and dignity* of each individual served Minimum Requirements * *Minimum 1 year experience* working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred * *Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background clearance* required * Must be *reliable, compassionate, and professional* * Ability to follow structured care plans and support individuals respectfully * Strong communication and documentation skills *Work Schedule* Flexible shifts available: * 4-hour shifts * 8-hour shifts * 10–12 hour shifts *Weekday and weekend availability preferred.* Apply Today If you are passionate about helping others and making a meaningful difference, we encourage you to apply. *Apply now to schedule your in-person interview.* Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Shift availability: * Day Shift (Preferred) * Night Shift (Preferred) * Overnight Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Santa Clarita, CA 91350 (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
