This position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to long-term care and community well-being. *Duties* * Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary * Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents’ health stability * Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, employing patience and specialized techniques * Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when needed * Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and proper infection control procedures * Document resident progress and incidents using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems accurately and promptly * Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being *Experience* * Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred * Proven background in caregiving roles involving assisted living or home & community care environments * Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring * Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care techniques, and behavior management strategies * Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in group home settings is a plus * Long-term care experience demonstrating reliability, compassion, and professionalism is highly valued Join us now to be part of a passionate team committed to providing exceptional senior care!
