Summary: The Caring Connection is hiring for caring and compassionate Personal Care Attendants/Caregivers with or without a CNA license to work with patients throughout Los Angeles County. The Personal Care Attendant/Caregiver will be responsible for assisting patients with their personal care and hygiene needs, all activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs/IADLs), accompanying patients to appointments and on errands as needed, health monitoring, and helping to maintain a clean and safe home environment for each patient. The successful Personal Care Attendant/Caregiver will also be required to maintain accurate and current health records on each patient. Personal Care Attendant (PCA/CNA) Responsibilities: Maintain home health care records that include any changes in physician's orders, diet, or personal living activities Assist home care patients in performing range of motion exercises and overseeing medication management based on physician's orders Help with patient meal preparation and feeding, as well as basic housekeeping functions Assist with all activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living according to patient's personalized care plan Work with transportation professionals to make sure that patients requiring additional assistance getting in and our of vehicles are able to safely use transportation as needed Deliver weekly reports to office staff and review important changes in the patient's condition Other duties as assigned Personal Care Attendant (PCA/CNA) Qualifications: 1+ year(s) experience as a Personal Care Attendant/Certified Nursing Assistant Bilingual Spanish a plus Prior pediatric experience and/or prior experience with developmentally disabled individuals desireable Ability to work a flexible schedule (Weekends, holidays, and evenings in high demand) Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check, be willing to submit to random drug screening, and be legally authorized to work in the United States
